1. Software Engineer - L2 Forwarding
Job Description:
You will be working on state of the art network processors, and on the latest Enterprise switches technology, carrier Ethernet technologies and data center technologies. Perform software design and implementation of packet forwarding. Enhance application level functionalities and features for networking platforms. Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and enhancements. Work closely with hardware engineering staff, particular in network processing and switching. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. Work closely with software quality assurance engineering to review feature test plans and confirm functions.
Degrees and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in EE, CS, IT or related field plus 4+ years of progressive work experience in the following general areas
• TCP/IP stack
• VLAN, MAC Mgr
• VPLS, VLL, Pseudo wire, Mac in Mac
• GRE, MPLS Tunneling
• Layer-2 packet switching
• L2VPN
• Worked with one or more network processors with good knowledge of network processor operations
2. Software Engineer - L3 Forwarding

3. Software Engineer - ACL, security
Job Description:
You will be working on state of the art network processors, and on the latest Enterprise switches technology, carrier Ethernet technologies and data center technologies. Perform software design and implementation of packet forwarding. Enhance application level functionalities and features for networking platforms. Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and enhancements. Work closely with hardware engineering staff, particular in network processing and switching. 4. Software Engineer - L2 Protocol - Development
Job Description:
The candidate will be part of an exciting and fast-paced team involved in the feature definition and implementation, for new Ethernet enterprise and data center and carrier services technology. The candidate will be involved in the feature definition, engineering design, software implementation of L2 protocols and new data center and carrier Ethernet protocols. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. The candidate will also interact with marketing and customer support in addressing customer feature requests and customer issues.
Degrees and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should have BS or MS and 4+ years SW implementation experiences working in one or more of the following areas:
• Spanning tree protocols, 802.1s, 802.1w,RSTP,MSTP
• Provider Bridges, 802.1ad
• Provider Backbone Bridges, 802.1ah
• VRRP, VSRP, MRP
• Development of L2 VPN features.
• Familiarity with IP multicast.
• Familiarity with high availability router design.
5. Software Engineer - L3 Protocol- Development
Job Description:
The candidate will be part of an exciting and fast-paced team involved in the feature definition and implementation, for new Ethernet enterprise and data center and carrier services technology. The candidate will be involved in the feature definition, engineering design, software implementation of L3 and MPLS and multicast protocols and new data center and carrier Ethernet protocols. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. The candidate will also interact with marketing and customer support in addressing customer feature requests and customer issues.
Degrees and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should have BS or MS and 4+ years SW implementation experiences working in one or more of the following areas:
• Working experience with OSPF V2, OSPF V3, BGP, BGP+ , IPV6
• Working experience with multicast protocols PIM sparse and dense
• Familiar with MPLS, VPLS, VLL
• BFD, PBR, GRE
• VRRP
• Development of L3 VPN and VRF features.
• Familiarity with IP multicast.
• Familiarity with high availability router design.
