Senior Engineer for video technology based product-line consisting of multiple products.
Job description
Work as a Senior Engineer in a team of talented engineers to develop world-class video solutions for licensing on multiple Digital Signal Processor platforms.
Responsibilities
Job will involve complete responsibility of all aspects of product development.
Technical
* Gather requirements
* Design a platform specific implementation
* Testing and benchmarking the product against other industry standards
Required experience and skills
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development and/or in video or image technology
* Knowledge and hands on experience of video coding standards and video pre-/post- processing
* Understanding and working knowledge of DSP architectures and optimization methodologies
* Experience in system level software architecture for video and multimedia systems (optional)
* Knowledge and hands on experience of software processes and experience in deployment of practices
Desired experience and skills
* Understanding of system (hardware and software) level issues
* Knowledge of an OS (DSP/BIOS, Linux, WinCE) (optional)
Required qualifications
Bachelor of Electrical/Electronics/
