Job description:

TR Markets MIS team manages Business Systems, a majority of which form the back bone for Lead-to-Cash process. One of the critical function/focus areas of the Lead-to-Cash back bone is 'Entitlements' where permission's for TR products are configured and maintained. One of the tree critical Entitlements application is called 'Athena' which is currently being managed by a vendor, as part of consolidation exercise TR would like to move this inhouse. This Tech Lead position will be key role in transitioning and establishing the team and there after ensuring successful management of this application.

The Corporate MIS QA group is a centralized group that ensures quality and provides testing services across Thomson Reuters corporate, professional and markets divisionsolders. The scope spans across business systems used company wide including key complex major applications such as SAP, Siebel, Salesforce.com, etc.



This is an entry level position where you will be learning the Thomson Reuters QA organization and business systems that QA supports. You will participate in a variety of tasks with the potential to move into a full time position as openings occur.


Day to Day Responsibilities :

• Execution of multiple testing types such as systems - functional and integration and regression testing including writing test cases and/or test scripts as defined by the project/release

• Through the course of testing, identifies and reports system bugs

• Utilizes multiple systems to manage testing, including HP's Quality Center, TeamTrack, etc

• Interacts frequently with manager, peers and core project team members

• Upfront involvement with requirements definition and analysis to ensure a high level of understanding in order to assist in the creation, execution and maintenance of test cases

• Perform analysis of defects


Education Qualification :
Engineering or business Graduate or equivalent

Required:
* Desire and interest in the quality assurance field

* Eagerness to learn, understand the business, applications and methodologies

* Quick learner

* Problem solver

* Ability to adapt/flexible

* strong communication skills both verbal and written; good English

* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal staff

* Team player
